This is the first time we have seen Google releasing a toned-down variant of its flagship device. The Google Pixel 3A was released to target the mid-range market. The device was launched in May 2019 and features similar looks and design to the Google Pixel 3 and only there are some specifications downgrades.

On the front, it has a 5.6 inch OLED display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2220 pixels. There is no notch on the screen, in fact, it features a much similar design to the Google Pixel 2 XL which has 2 front-firing speakers on both top and bottom chin.
