How to Use Selfie Stick on non-supported Android Devices

A selfie stick is a monopod used to take selfie photographs by positioning a smartphone or camera beyond the normal range of the arm. The metal sticks are typically extendable, with a handle on one end and an adjustable clamp on the other end to hold a phone in place.

Buying a selfie stick sounds very nice but on the backside it is not supported on every android device. In case if your device does not support it by reading this post further, you will be able to use it on your device.

One of my friend came up with the same problem. He bought a selfie stick online from FlipKart. He was using HTC Desire 816. When the package arrived he found out that after clicking button on his selfie stick nothing happened. But when he tried it on other devices it worked perfectly fine. Then we realise that this is a software side problem and we searched for selfie apps across Google Play Store. Luckily we found out two applications which can fix this problem :

Camera360 Ultimate

  1. Install Camera360 Ultimate from Google Play Store.
  2. Connect your selfie stick and capture selfies using this app.

SelfiShop Camera

  1. Install SelfiShop Camera from Google Play Store.
  2. Open installed app & click menu.
  3. Adjust setting as required and enjoy selfies.
