Sometimes you can’t help but see who is visiting or viewing your TikTok profile. You can now keep track of your visitors using TikTok’s profile views option.

This feature was removed from the app in 2020. It again made a comeback in February 2022. By enabling this option, you can see the people who have recently visited your profile.

How do TikTok Profile Views work?

If you have a public profile on TikTok, anyone can visit it, even if they are not following you. If you have the TikTok Profile Views feature enabled, it will show you the list of profile visitors in the last 30 days.

Remember, profile views on TikTok are a two-way street. If you can spy around other people’s profiles, they can do the same with your profile. 

Profile views show the history of profile visitors, but it doesn’t show how frequently they have visited your profile. You can still figure out a few things by checking the profile visit activities.

Let’s say you have only four visitors in the last 30 days. If user X is the fourth visitor during this period, they will be ranked first. If a fifth person visits your profile within the same period, they will push down user X to the second position.

By tracking the change in rankings, you can get an idea of the frequency of their visits to your profile. No matter how often a person views your profile, they will be listed only once. Only their ranking will change.

At this time, TikTok doesn’t have a notification function when someone visits your profile. So you will have to check the profile visitor list manually.

If you don’t want someone to visit your profile, the only solution is to block them. If you disable the Profile Views option, you will disappear from other people’s profile view history. 

The good thing is you can enable/disable this option as many times as you want. Remember, enabling the option will make you reappear on other users’ profile view history.

Steps to Check Who Has Viewed Your TikTok Profile

You can only see your TikTok profile visits if the profile views option is enabled. Follow these steps to see the history of profile visits in the past 30 days.

1. Open the TikTok app on your phone.
2. Select the Profile icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
3. Tap the eye icon beside the three parallel lines on the top-right corner of the screen.

Note: It usually takes up to a few days for TikTok to update your profile visit history. If the list is not updated, check back 2-3 days later.

Steps To Enable Profile Views On TikTok

To see the history of your profile views, you will need to enable the option in your TikTok account. It can be done by following these steps.

1. Launch TikTok on your phone.
2. In the lower-right corner, you will see the Profile option. Tap on it.
3. Tap the eye icon on the upper-right corner of the screen.
4. Select the TAP ON button, and you are good to go.

You can disable the Profile Views feature anytime you want. All you have to do is reverse the settings.

By enabling the profile views option, you can keep track of the users who frequently visit your profile. If you don’t want them to see your profile and videos, you can either block them or make your profile private.
